About Leah

I’m a wedding photographer born and raised in New York City, now working across New York and New Jersey. I picked up my first camera at eight years old. Photography runs deep in my family. My great-grandfather, Lou Bernstein, was a renowned photographer, and his legacy sparked my passion for capturing real life in a meaningful, artful way.

I studied photography formally, earning my BFA with a minor in business—so I bring both creative vision and a strong, organized approach to every wedding I photograph.

My style is a blend of classic and editorial: timeless images with a polished, magazine-worthy edge. But what really sets me apart is how I work on the day itself. I’m known for my high energy, sharp eye, and ability to take charge in a way that feels fun, clear, and totally stress-free. Whether it’s guiding you into flattering poses or hyping you up with a quick one-liner to get that real laugh—I’m all in from start to finish.

Couples come to me with a specific vision, and I’m great at making it happen—while also catching the spontaneous, beautiful moments in between. From detailed flatlays to the wildest dance floor moves, I’m there for every shot that tells your story.

“When I photograph, I give it everything I've got.”
